Barista

Essential Functions

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, espresso, and specialty drinks, according to established recipes and standards


• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly greeting and assisting guests, answering questions about menu items, and offering suggestions based on their preferences


• Proactively monitor stock levels and restock supplies as needed


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including the beverage station, counters, and equipment


• Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and brewers, according to manufacturer and safety guidelines


• Accepting and processing customer payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency


• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and provide support as needed

Qualifications

The Company may consider equivalent combination of acceptable education and experience providing the knowledge, skills and abilities cited below.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role within the hospitality industry preferred


• Knowledge of coffee and tea brewing techniques and recipes


• Excellent communication and customer service skills


• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment


• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously


• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays


• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
