Barista

The Starbucks Barista is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Baristas create a welcoming environment by building positive customer connections, maintaining store cleanliness, and upholding Starbucks standards of quality, safety, and service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee,      espresso beverages, and food items according to Starbucks standards
• Provide friendly, prompt, and      professional customer service
• Accurately operate point-of-sale      (POS) systems and handle cash transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and      organization of the store, including workstations and customer areas
• Follow food safety, health, and      sanitation regulations
• Restock supplies and assist with      inventory control
• Work effectively as part of a      team to ensure smooth store operations
• Must be flexible to work all      shifts, AM, mid, and PM
• Comply with all company policies,      procedures, and safety guidelines

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent      preferred
• Customer service or food service      experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced      environment
• Strong communication and teamwork      skills
• Reliable attendance and flexible      availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for      extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to      40 pounds
• Ability to perform repetitive      motions associated with beverage preparation
