Barista

TEAM MEMBER REQUIREMENTS:

• Willingness to accept the most effective role.


• Function as a representative of the Korman culture and standards to all Team Members and our residents.


• Maintains regular attendance in compliance with the Korman standards.


• Approach all encounters with residents and Team Members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.


• Promotes a safe, secure and healthy work environment.


• Maintains Resident/guest privacy and confidentiality by protecting all personal information.


• Familiar with emergency and safety procedures for your role.


• Adheres to AKA Image Requirements policy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work independently and within a team on special, nonrecurring, and ongoing projects.


• Create hand crafted drinks from our coffee, smoothies, and beverage menu sections.


• Learn how to prepare beverages to standard recipes.


• Maintain complete knowledge of all our food and beverage menu items, price and availability.


• Provide a welcome to every customer and provide answers about menu items including any allergen questions.


• Build guest relationships.


• Maintain a prepared and sanitary work area.


• Accurately using and cleaning barista equipment.


• Accurately make drink orders and gather items ordered.


• Assist with setup, cleanup, stock work and handling of food items.


• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and flexible schedule.


• The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.


• Any other related job duties assigned by the manager.

DESIRED SKILLS:

· A good attitude and an outgoing personality

· Minimum 1yr barista experience

· Ability to work with a team of great people focused on delivering the same vision

· Ability to work in a fast paced environment

· Availability to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, weekends, and/or holidays

· Must have proficient knowledge of a variety of computer software applications (MSWord, Excel, Access, Adobe, PowerPoint)

· Skills Needed: Motivational, verbal communication, written communication

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.


• Sits, stands, bends, stretches, lifts items and moves frequently during working hours.
