Job Description - Barista

We are seeking a friendly, skilled Barista to join our team at Basecamp, located at Lightwell Hotel and Spa. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso beverages according to company standards.

Serve and prepare breakfast foods, maintaining quality and presentation.

Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.

Handle cash register operations and process transactions accurately.

Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Follow all health and safety regulations.

Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role.

Ability to prepare and serve breakfast foods.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Basic math skills for handling transactions.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings and weekends.

Must be at least 18 years old
