Barista- Miss Lucille's Cafe

Miss Lucille's Cafe & Coffee is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Barista to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, excellent communication skills, and a friendly demeanor. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee and tea beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a diverse range of coffee and tea beverages in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.


• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, taking and accurately processing their orders (including curb side service).


• Operate coffee brewing and grinding equipment with precision to ensure the highest quality beverages.


• Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately, providing customers with the correct change and receipts.


• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the coffee preparation and service areas.


• Restock supplies, monitor inventory levels, and communicate with management about product needs.


• Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.


• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience.


• Stay informed about current coffee trends, product offerings, and promotions.


• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and smooth operations during peak hours.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years or older.


• Previous experience as a Barista with curb side service is preferred.
  


• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso equipment.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.


• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.


• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.


• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  


• A positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional service.

Early Mornings and Days (5:30 a.m. to Close)
