From your PASSION to ours

Lactalis Heritage Dairy, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Barrel Room based in Tulare, California.

Reporting to Grated Supervisor(s), the Barrel Room’s main responsibility is to demonstrate flexibility to work in all aspects of the barrel room.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities from this position include:

• Must perform work in all aspects of the barrel room, including but not limited to, barrel filling/sealing and forklift operations.
• Maintain and track quality/ccp documentation.
• Complete daily and master sanitation of work area. 
• Provide coverage so that team members can attend meetings, cross-train and/or work on projects.
• Learns multiple jobs as determined by team consensus. 
• Assist with period cleaning, downtime, TPM, and other production needs including emergency situations. 
• Follow all Safety procedures and guidelines.
• Communicate and passdown business information. 
• Follow TAP process to complete training requirements. 
• Complete failure analysis including root cause and corrective action.
• Actively identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. 
• Assist with equipment troubleshooting and support maintenance when needed.
• Perform other assignments as directed.
• Accountable for the QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) standards as outlined in the plant’s QRMP accountability document, including the implementation, improvement and ongoing maintenance.
• Regular Attendance is an essential function of the job. 
• Other duties as assigned.
