What is the job?: As a Bartender at Tatsu-Ya, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience by crafting high-quality beverages and providing outstanding service. Utilizing your mixology skills and attention to detail, you will enhance guest satisfaction and ensure smooth service operations.

• Check and prepare the PAR prep list for the day to ensure all necessary supplies are ready for service, while stocking your station with spirits, glassware, garnishes, and other essential items for smooth operations throughout the shift.
• Follow strict sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene in all aspects of drink preparation and service.
• Check inventory regularly and communicate any out-of-stock items or low stock items to managers and team members.
• Greet guests in a friendly and timely manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere at the bar.
• Prepare cocktails according to established recipes to ensure consistency and quality.
• Answer staff questions regarding alcoholic beverages and provide assistance as needed during shifts.
• Restock throughout the shift, including batches, beer kegs, garnishes, and ice, to maintain efficient service.
• Assist with running drinks and food to tables and maintaining table cleanliness when available.
• Follow the close-down checklist procedures and check out with a manager before leaving to ensure all tasks are completed.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Valid food handlers and TABC certificates.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift 25-50 lbs.
• Prolonged periods of standing and navigating the kitchen environment.
