Bartender

Job Summary:

Regents’ Glen Country Club is seeking a skilled and personable Bartender to provide exceptional service to our members and guests. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about a variety of beverages, have excellent customer service skills, and create a welcoming atmosphere at the bar. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, upscale environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with club standards and recipes.


• Provide excellent customer service, engaging with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.


• Maintain a clean and organized bar, including stocking inventory, cleaning glassware, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.


• Take orders, process transactions, and handle cash and credit card payments accurately.


• Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service of beverages.


• Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to provide a seamless dining and beverage experience.


• Assist with private events, special occasions, and club functions as needed.


• Stay updated on industry trends and suggest creative cocktails or seasonal drink specials.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Previous bartending experience in a high-end or hospitality setting preferred.


• Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and beverage pairings.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.


• Must be at least 21 and possess necessary alcohol service certifications (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol).


• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
