Description

ESSENTIAL CONTRIBUTIONS:

Must be available to work weekends and evenings/late nights.

  • Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest and maintain a safe environment by identifying problem guests and having them removed.
  • Keep the bar area clean in accordance with the company guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department.
  • Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the night and be able to account for any and all discrepancies in the final drawer tally.
  • Greet Guests with a smile (and by name if known) and welcome them to the restaurant.
  • Mix all drinks based on the serving sizes as outlined to keep drink costs at a minimum and consistent. 
  • Develop an efficient work pace that keeps the customers at the bar always satisfied. 
  • Prepare and assemble food items from the menu, including appetizers, snacks, and light meals.
  • Educate customers on food items, how they are prepared and served. *Current set up is Grab n’ Go and not full kitchen setting.  
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food handling standards. 
  • Provide a positive and friendly guest experience by interacting with patrons.
  • Check identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers.
  • Keep a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, food condiments and other accessories.
  • Organize the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory.
  • Slice, pit, and prepare fruit garnishes for drinks. Date per requirements of health codes. 
  • Assist in ensuring patrons always have a safe ride home, calling a taxi or Uber when appropriate.
  • Special projects as assigned by Manager.

Requirements

  • Must be able to articulate clear greetings and farewells to Guests, as well as being able to understand requests for assistance. 
  • A desire to help out where needed and work as part of a team. 
  • Passion for providing extraordinary service. 
  • An appetite for learning (and great food). 
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts. 
  • Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • High School Diploma, or a General Education Degree (GED) is preferred. 
  • Maricopa County Food Handlers Card required.
  • Title IV Alcohol Certification 
  • Restaurant and Customer experience preferred.
