Principal Purpose of Job:
Bartender is responsible for taking the guests through the key phase of their banquet experience. As a Devil’s Thumb Ranch banquet server and bartender, you will be assuming the role of tour guide, communicator, decision-maker, entertainer, curator and rancher (at heart). The banquet server and bartender is responsible for serving food and beverage to guests according to established sequence of service and answering questions pertaining to food preparation.

Physical Demands:
Performing duties which require bending & reaching
Lifting & transporting up to 50-pound dining chairs, booster seats, high chairs, and food/drink – if applicable, emptying trash cans weighing up to 100 pounds
Standing or walking, for up to 8+ hours
Maintaining a well-groomed appearance (“having a plan”)
Following all uniform guidelines
Practicing all safety & sanitation standards
Recycling products, where possible
The position you are being hired for is an all inclusive “Food & Beverage Staff” position. Although you are signing this Server and Bartender job description, once validated, you may also be cross-trained in other areas such as Hecks or Ranch House Restaurant Back Server, Server, and Bartender positions. These positions may become rotated responsibilities and used as volume and/or staffing needs dictate.
