15 Walnut Tavern is looking for an experienced bartender with a warm personality, strong service skills, and a thoughtful approach to hospitality.

As Hamilton’s neighborhood tavern, we’re a place for familiar faces, new neighbors, everyday lunches, and special evenings. Our approach is simple: good food, well-made drinks, and attentive service that feels natural and welcoming.

About the Role

We’re looking for someone who enjoys getting to know guests, remembers the details, and takes pride in creating an experience people want to return to. You should be equally comfortable welcoming a regular, guiding a first-time guest through the menu, and keeping service running smoothly during a busy shift.

Responsibilities 

• Deliver warm, attentive service to bar guests while supporting beverage service for the dining room.
• Prepare cocktails and other beverages with care and consistency.
• Make thoughtful recommendations across our food, cocktail, beer, and wine offerings.
• Keep the bar clean, organized, stocked, and ready for service.
• Handle orders and payments accurately.
• Communicate clearly and work closely with the entire restaurant team.
• Follow responsible alcohol service practices.

• Previous restaurant bartending experience.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
• A hospitality-driven mindset and a clear commitment to customer service.
• The ability to stay organized, personable, and attentive during busy service.
• Reliability, professionalism, and a team-focused attitude.
• Availability to work both lunch and dinner shifts is required.
