Description
· Provide the highest level of service in accordance with our standards
· Answer guests’ questions about food, beverages, events and facilities in knowledgeable manner
· Make a great first impression with professional friendly service, a genuine smile, and warm welcome
· Inform guests about menu selections, including food, beer, cocktails, wine, dessert, specials and events
· Make appropriate recommendations and upsells
· Have an intimate knowledge of all house brews, spirits and wine, including flavor profiles, ingredients, and food pairings
· Serve alcohol in an appropriate responsible manner consistent with company standards; recognize signs of intoxication, and never over-serve
· Wash and sanitize glassware, bar tools, etc.
· Monitor and refill ice bins
· Prepare garnishes
· Maintain security of all bar inventory, organize and restock supplies, and notify Manager of any ordering needs or special requests
· Enter orders in the POS system accurately
· Process financial transactions accurately
· Communicate with management, kitchen staff, and serving staff to maintain an efficient service flow
· Respond appropriately to customer complaints and bring any issues to the attention of a manager
· Participate in end of shift side work duties
· Perform opening and closing duties, including cleaning, waste/recycling, restroom maintenance, etc.
· Maintain safe, clean, organized & stocked work areas
Work both locations: R& H The Rock and The Carrisa
Minimum Wage + tips, and commission
