Bartender - Cliff House at Wynn Las Vegas

The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service and creating memorable guest experiences consistent with Wynn Las Vegas’ Forbes Five-Star standards and luxury hospitality culture. Located at Cliff House, the Bartender prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while providing attentive, personalized service in a refined dining environment. The Bartender demonstrates expertise in cocktail preparation, wine, beer, and spirits while maintaining efficient bar operations, ensuring compliance with responsible alcohol service requirements, and supporting overall restaurant success. This role requires strong guest engagement skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume hospitality environment.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service consistent with Wynn Las Vegas service standards.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Engage guests in a professional and welcoming manner while anticipating and fulfilling guest needs.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and seasonal beverage offerings.
• Make beverage recommendations and pairings based on guest preferences and menu selections.
• Accurately enter beverage orders into the point-of-sale system and process transactions according to company procedures.
• Verify guest identification and ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with all applicable laws and company policies.
• Prepare and maintain fresh garnishes, mixers, syrups, and other beverage ingredients.
• Stock and replenish liquor, beer, wine, glassware, ice, and bar supplies throughout service periods.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of all bar areas, equipment, and storage locations.
• Ensure compliance with all Southern Nevada Health District regulations and company sanitation standards.
• Assist with opening, operating, and closing bar procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management of product shortages or operational needs.
• Communicate effectively with restaurant leadership and team members to ensure seamless service execution.
• Support special events, private dining functions, golf tournaments, and promotional activities as assigned.
• Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards in accordance with Wynn Las Vegas policies.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment while supporting overall restaurant operations.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced luxury dining environment.

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of bartender experience in a restaurant, resort, country club, or hospitality environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests and team members.
• Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all licenses, permits, and work cards required by Wynn Las Vegas and local regulatory agencies.

Preferred:

• Previous experience in a luxury resort, golf club, country club, or upscale dining environment.
• Knowledge of wine service, craft cocktails, and premium spirits.
• Experience serving high-volume restaurant, lounge, or banquet operations.
• Additional language skills are a plus.
