Baseball Assistant Coach

Position Summary Maranatha Christian Academy is seeking an Assistant Baseball Coach for the spring 2027 season who is passionate about developing student-athletes on and off the field. The assistant coach will support the head coach’s vision and help foster a Christ-centered team culture that emphasizes character, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Responsibilities

• Assist with practices, games, player development, and team activities.


• Support the head coach’s coaching philosophy, program goals, and expectations.


• Model Christian values and promote character, accountability, and sportsmanship.


• Maintain positive communication with players, families, and coaching staff.


• Follow all school, athletic department, conference, and MSHSL policies and procedures.


• Work collaboratively with the coaching staff and athletic department to support the mission of MCA Athletics.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of baseball fundamentals, rules, and strategies.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Commitment to MCA’s Christian mission and the development of student-athletes.


• Previous baseball coaching experience preferred.

This is a seasonal, temporary position with no benefits offered.
