Job Summary

Specialize in remodeling and updating bathrooms in residential or commercial properties

Removing old fixtures, tiles, and other bathroom components

Installing new bathroom fixtures, such as bathtubs, showers, toilets, sinks, and cabinets, bathroom accessories ( toilet paper holder, towel rack, mirror, vanity)

Performing carpentry, tiling, and painting tasks as necessary

Be able to use a variety of tools to cut the tiles, including tile scribes, wet saws and handheld tile cutters.

Working out how many tiles and how much adhesive you’ll need for a particular area

Cutting tiles to a certain size or shape with hand-cutters or bench-mounted tools

Preparing surfaces by levelling off with plaster, sand or cement

Decorating and protecting floors and walls using all kinds of tiles (including ceramic, clay, slate, marble and glass)

Fixing the tiles and applying grout before finishing off

Laying intricate mosaic tiles

Qualifications

Excellent attention to detail

Strong eye for design

Strong customer service skills

The ability to meet deadlines and work well in new and changing environments

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
