Baylor Nurse

Position Details:

• Main Office location: Concord, MA
• Service Area: Concord territorie.
• Job Type: Part-time
• Schedule: Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon - 30 hours per weekend - 3 ten-hour days.

Responsibilities:

• Initiates appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Initiates the plan of care and makes necessary revisions as patient status and needs change.
• Responds promptly to incoming calls during afterhours. (Weekends 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM)
• Assesses patient’s needs through triaging and providing in-home care when needed.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurse practitioners and interdisciplinary team to contribute a strong Plan of Care for each patient.
• Responds to inquiries and concerns from patients, their caregivers, and their medical team.
• Consults patients and caregivers before, during and after treatment. 

Qualifications:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of MA.
• Preferably 2+ years of nursing experience, with a focus on geriatrics.
• New nurses are encouraged to apply; we offer an exceptional training program.
• Excellent bedside manners and exceptional communication skills.
• Working knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations.
• Maintain current BLS CPR certification.
• Possess a valid driver's license and own a reliable, insured vehicle.
