POSITION SUMMARY: The BCBA/LBA is responsible for providing behavioral analytic services to individuals receiving early intervention services to achieve significant change in the client’s areas of need and behaviors. The BCBA/LBA will develop, plan, and implement strategies to reduce behavior and acquire skills. Formulate and implement ABA treatment based on a sound integration of theory and practice; engage in special projects, research, and consultation; and teach in an interdisciplinary setting. Responsible for the oversight of services provided to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards of quality that have been established by the organization and relevant regulatory bodies. The BCBA may provide Clinical Supervision, RBT Supervision, and Board Supervision to RBTs, and/or BCaBAs/LaBAs
WORKING CONDITIONS: This position is performed primarily indoors at the administrative office.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to the risk of electric shock (cooking, cleaning, assistance in activities of daily living, etc.). The employee is also occasionally required to function in narrow aisles or passageways. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but may be high during a resident’s crisis.
Travel for this position occurs between locations, outside training, conferences, etc., as required.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS/Key Accountabilities: (Other duties and projects will be assigned, as necessary.)
1. Coordinates regularly with the Clinical Director to ensure consistency in clinic-wide procedures, programming, and teaching principles.
2. Design, implement, and manage evidence-based ABA services (intervention, assessment, staff training, etc.), maintaining 90% efficiency and meeting billable expectations.
3. May serve as an RBT, BCaBA/LaBA, or Behavior Specialist supervisor as outlined by the BACB and BHA policies.
4. Ensure that all staff have the necessary tools, resources, and information to perform their respective duties.
8. Implement the client’s approved behavior plan and programs.
9. Provides and schedules parent training consistently.
12. Prepare and create materials for programming as needed.
13. Communicate with the Operations Manager, BCBA/BCaBA, Preceptor, and RBT as appropriate regarding clinical observations, individual specific concerns, and programming needs as appropriate.
14. Ensure a clean, safe, attractive, and functional learning environment.
15. Attend training and meetings as required by BHA.
16. Maintain proficient understanding and working knowledge of ABA.
17. Meet outlined requirements as outlined by the BACB, licensing board, and BHA policies to maintain current certification and licensure.
18. Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the behavior services.
19. Collaborate in the development, administration, and coordination of department policies and procedures to ensure the best standards are maintained.
20. Participate in the company’s Ethical Committee as available.
21. Participate in the company’s collaboration meetings as available.
22. Provide training and guidance to employees on ABA and how to adopt a behavior-analytic approach.
23. Provide therapeutic sessions to clients utilizing evidence-based practices.
24. Record billable services on the company's platform, following all regulatory and company policies.
25. Conduct crisis evaluation and triage to assist in abating crises.
26. Request authorization, conduct assessments, write treatment plans, and complete proper billing requirement documentation as outlined in BHA policies.
27. Work in collaboration with other professionals (SLP, OT, School).
28. Document history, assessments, and interventions to reflect a comprehensive and integrated approach to patient care.
29. The assigned caseload will consist of 87% direct services to clients (i.e., direct supervision, program modification, parent training) and 13% indirect administrative time.

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
1. Required company training.

QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate-level certification in behavior analysis from a recognized program.
BACB certification.
KS and MO State License through the KS and MO Behavior Analyst Advisory Boards.
Proof of completion of the 8-hour supervision course.
2 years of experience working with individuals within an early intervention behavioral clinic setting, preferred.
At least 6 months of experience working with individuals in an educational and/or clinic setting.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
Demonstrates the ability to take initiative, anticipate needs, and exercise independent/sound judgment.
