BCIS and Digital Media Teacher

Overview:

MC Prep is seeking men and women who are commissioned by God to serve as educators and pastors of the classroom. We are seeking a dynamic educator to join our team as a BCIS (Business Computer Information Systems) & Digital Media Teacher. This role offers an exciting opportunity to empower students in High School with essential 21st-century skills in technology, business applications, and creative digital tools. We're looking for someone who is innovative, student-focused, and enthusiastic about preparing learners for the digital age.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Born again, spirit-filled believer


• Active member of a Bible-believing church


• Prioritizes growing in a relationship with Jesus Christ through daily personal encounters


• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferably in Business Education, Technology Education, Media Arts, or a related field.


• Two or more years of experience in education (highly preferred)


• Able to receive and apply feedback in the pursuit of excellence


• Strong, proactive work ethic


• Personable with great communication skills


• Collaborative, flexible, goal-driven personality

Responsibilities: 

• Teach high school courses in BCIS and Digital Media


• Develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate project-based learning, real-world applications, and current industry trends.


• Equip students with foundational business and computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and digital literacy.


• Lead instruction in digital media production including photography, graphic design, video editing, and multimedia storytelling.
  


• Lead and collaborate with students in stewarding the School's yearbook utilizing their creative skills in photography.


• Foster a classroom environment that supports collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking.


• Assess student performance regularly and provide constructive feedback to support growth.


• Collaborate with faculty to integrate technology and digital tools across the curriculum.


• Contribute to school-wide initiatives and events.
