The Tenvoorde Family is seeking an amazing BDC – Service Appointment Scheduler!

Responsibilities


 


What does a BDC – Service Appointment Scheduler do?



  • BDC – Business Development Center, you make the first impression on our valuable customers

  • Answer all incoming service calls

  • Work with BDC co-worker to fill our service schedule, you get a mentor!

  • Asking the right questions so customers get the correct services performed

  • Pays close attention to scheduling software and accurately schedules appointments

  • Prioritize Mobile Service and Pickup and Delivery appointments.

  • Outbound calls, texts, emails to confirm appointments

  • Outbound calls to our customer base to schedule recalls

  • Collaborate with BDC co-worker to schedule service loaners

  • Take incoming calls from customers with vehicles currently in for service

  • Answer basic questions about dealership or customer concerns

  • Other BDC related tasks assigned by management or BDC co-worker


 


Qualifications



  • One year customer service experience

  • Enthusiastic personality

  • Strong computer skills

  • Must be reliable

  • High level of detail, organization and accuracy

  • Ability to identify, learn & work within specific service processes

  • Effective listening & communication skills when speaking with coworkers or guests.

  • Exceptional ability to learn and grow

  • Amazing work ethic

  • Ability to learn from veteran staff

  • Outstanding ability to work with a team and take direction

  • Ability and willingness to adopt modern technology

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in use of basic computer and phone systems

  • Ability to sit at a desk for your shift occasionally leaving BDC area to address over the phone customer concerns.

  • Organized and friendly personality

  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check
