Job Description - BDC Manager

We are  looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to serve as our BDC and Internet Sales Manager. Our BDC team is an integral part of our customer service and sales experience. BDC agents are responsible for the coordination of service appointments, sales interest, and following up with customers. This position will oversee our agents and assist the sales and service leadership teams.

  • Ensure a high level of customer care during phone calls
  • Monitor BDC Representative’s schedules, quality of work, and approve their timecards
  • Collaborate with Service and Sales managers to improve customer service and department needs
  • Develop training protocols for new agents
  • Perform quality assurance checks by reviewing recorded calls
  • Ensure proper telemarketing protocols are being followed
  • Analyze sales and service data for areas of improvement
  • Set goals and quotas for BDC representatives

Requirements

  • Associates, bachelor’s or higher education degree in business or any related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in an automotive sales or service industry
  • At least 2 years of managerial experience
  • CRM and DMS knowledge and experience (VINSolutions/Reynolds/AutoManager/CDK Global)
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office products
