Job Description - BDC Manager





Hawk Ford of Carol Stream is a dynamic and rapidly growing automotive group with multiple dealership locations across Illinois. As a trusted name in the industry, we are committed to excellence in every aspect of our operations, from sales and service to customer satisfaction and community engagement. Our Large Auto Dealership is looking for experienced, professional, and motivated individuals to join our team! Ideal candidates will have superior customer service skills, excellent communication skills, and be able to stay motivated and productive in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities










  • Staff Management:


    Recruit, onboard, and train Business Development Representatives (DBRs) or BDC coordinators. 



     













  • Lead Management:


    Oversee inbound and outbound lead calls and emails, ensuring prompt and professional follow-up from the BDC team. 



     













  • Performance Monitoring:


    Set performance goals and quotas for the BDC staff, track results, and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement. 



     













  • Appointment Setting:


    Coordinate and schedule sales and service appointments, and manage rescheduling for no-show customers. 



     













  • Strategy Development:


    Develop and implement strategies to optimize lead generation, customer engagement, and sales conversion rates. 



     













  • Reporting & Analysis:


    Run daily, weekly, and monthly reports to track department performance and identify trends. 



     













  • Customer Satisfaction:


    Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional communication and support. 



     













  • Collaboration:


    Work closely with sales, marketing, and service departments to align strategies and optimize the customer journey. 



     















Essential Skills 



 










  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Ability to recruit and train team members.

  • Proficiency in using CRM systems for lead tracking and data analysis.

  • Analytical skills to review performance metrics and implement strategies.

  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing campaigns and website traffic monitoring.
