Job Description - BDC Manager

Carlisle Cadillac Buick GMC is searching for a Full-Time BDC Manager.  We are looking for an energetic individual looking to grow their Automotive Career in a family-oriented business.  



The BDC Manager is responsible for developing, processing, managing, following up, and tracking all customers as it pertains to the sales department within a dealership. This individual completes all reports and administrative procedures as required. If you like a fast-paced work environment and talking on the phone, this would be a great fit for you!



Responsibilities:



  • Lead customer relations process management.

  • Develop accountable, continuous improvement plans.

  • Gather accurate customer information to create a database for continual follow-up and retention.

  • Utilize computer skills to increase appointments, sales, and customer retention.

  • Utilize phone skills to set solid appointments with call-ins, previous customers, and referrals.

  • Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.

  • Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.

  • Arrive at work, take breaks, and depart work at the times designated by management.

  • Attend meetings and training as scheduled.

  • Ensure that work areas and customer waiting areas are kept clean.

  • Other duties as assigned.



Qualifications:



  • Excellent customer service skills – actively looking for ways to serve our customers 

  • Self-starter mentality and ambitious spirit preferred

  • Eager to learn new skills and improve

  • Phenomenal communication skills with customers and team members

  • Professional, well-groomed personal appearance

  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license

  • Basic computer and phone skills

  • Available to work flexible hours and weekends
