We're currently looking for a full-time salaried BDC Representative to join our team in Hickory and support both locations.

Job Description

As a BDC Representative at Cloninger Ford, you will play a key role in driving traffic to both the Hickory and Morganton stores by managing inbound leads, scheduling appointments, and ensuring seamless communication with our sales team. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, confident on the phone, and motivated to support team performance.

Job Type & Pay

Job Type: Full-time, Salaried
Location: Based out of the Hickory store
Coverage: Responsible for handling BDC needs for both Hickory and Morganton dealerships

Work Requirements

  Schedule: Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays as needed

  Work Location: In person, Hickory, NC

  
  


• 
  

  Travel: Occasional travel to Morganton store (as needed)

  
  

Responsibilities

• 
  

  Respond promptly to internet, phone, and chat inquiries from potential customers

  
  


• 
  

  Set and confirm sales appointments for both Hickory and Morganton stores

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct follow-ups with unsold showroom traffic, internet leads, and incoming calls

  
  


• 
  

  Accurately document customer interactions and updates in the CRM

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with the sales managers and teams at both locations to ensure smooth handoffs

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times

  
  


• 
  

  Stay up to date with dealership promotions, incentives, and inventory changes

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  Previous experience in a BDC, customer service, or sales support role preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Automotive industry experience is a plus but not required

  
  


• 
  

  Strong phone and written communication skills

  
  


• 
  

  Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

  
  


• 
  

  Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

  High school diploma or equivalent

  
  


• 
  

  Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
