Job Description - BDC Service Agent



BDC Service Agent – Crossroads Chevrolet (Beckley, WV)


Location: Beckley, WV
Department: Service Department
Position Type: Full-Time

Crossroads Chevrolet is a trusted name in southern West Virginia for quality vehicles and exceptional customer service. We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused BDC (Business Development Center) Service Agent to join our growing Service Department team. If you’re a people person who enjoys helping others and thrives in a fast-paced environment, we want to meet you!


Key Responsibilities:




  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to schedule customer service appointments.




  • Confirm and coordinate service appointments for maintenance, repairs, and warranty/recall work.




  • Follow up with customers currently in service or recently serviced to ensure satisfaction and encourage positive Chevrolet survey and review participation.




  • Communicate recall information and proactively reach out to customers to schedule necessary repairs.




  • Maintain accurate customer records and appointment details in the dealership management system.




  • Work closely with Service Advisors and Technicians to ensure smooth scheduling and excellent customer experiences.




  • Provide friendly, professional, and prompt customer interactions that reflect the Crossroads Chevrolet standard.




Qualifications:




  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.




  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.




  • Comfortable using computers, phone systems, and CRM/DMS software (training provided).




  • Ability to handle a high volume of calls in a positive and professional manner.




  • Previous call center, dealership, or customer service experience preferred but not required.




  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
