Beach Club Director

Job Description - Beach Club Director

Full-time

Description

ABOUT BAY COLONY BEACH CLUB

The Beach Club is part of Bay Colony Community Association (BCCA) a private, gated community situated on two hundred acres on the Gulf of Mexico. The community consists of five (5) neighborhoods and eleven (11) luxury condominiums, with 940 doors. Among the amenities within Bay Colony is the private upscale 14,000 square foot Beach Club.

The Beach Club overlooks the Gulf of Mexico and is located within Pelican Bay. Key elements include:

  • $3M revenue budget.
  • The Gulf Room seats eighty-six and includes unique dining ‘pods’ for privacy and perfect views. This room includes a private dining area that seats approximately twenty for more intimate dinners.
  • Middle Shores is an area seating thirty-eight, the “in-between” area between the casual bar dining and the Gulf Room.
  • Casual dining and bar. The bar seats fourteen and the casual area seats fifty-four. In the busy season, many tables are available for reservations and the balance are ‘walk-in’ only. In the off season, May-October walk-ins are permitted and encouraged.
  • The Sunset Terrace is a recent addition and seats thirty-eight.  A permanent roof, screens, fans, and heaters make this venue available in most any weather conditions.
  • Lunch and dinner are served 7 days and 6 nights, respectively, November-April. During the off season, the schedule changes to 6 days for lunch and 4 nights for dinner in May and then 5 days for lunch and 2 nights for dinner, June-October. There are perfect views of the Gulf of Mexico available from every area inside the Beach Club.
  • The Chickee Bar and Pool Deck seat 130 and offer lunch on the same schedule as the indoor venues, with Happy Hour on Tuesday evenings. Opportunities for casual dining between lunch and dinner at the Chickee bar are available during season.
  • The Beach is a private beach that offers a full-service bar and lunch. The beach operation, several weeks during season, serves over 550 residents and their families; during these busy, peak times we offer a Beach BBQ to accommodate the heavy demand.
