Hi, 

I'm the direct recruiter for a Beautician Hairstylist (nails a +) with a San Jose 6-acre senior community

Current need: 3 days/week with 1 weekend day; you schedule

150 customers, free space, tip/supplies subsidy & bring external clients/grow the business! 

As Beautician Hairstylist at Lincoln Glen Manor (https://lgmanor.org) an inviting, senior community offering extensive amenities across a 6-acre campus- you’ll specialize in hair styling/cutting services, engaging with senior residents, understanding their needs/offering gentle techniques/taking extra precautions to ensure comfort/safety while helping to maintain their hygiene.  

HIGHLIGHTS 

• 3+ days on-site, where 1 of those days is a weekend
  

• FREE office/studio space
  

• Partner with LGM to grow your business with non-Lincoln Glen Manager residents/patients                                  
  

• Male/female adult/senior hair cutting/styling
  

• Nail polish/other services are desirable if you have experience. (No pedicures as this raises healthcare issues for diabetic residents)
  

• Haircuts, styling, coloring, perms, and other hair treatments
  

• Manicures, pedicures, and nail grooming
  

• May offer services like facials, light massage, or specialized care for residents with Alzheimer's or dementia
  

• Prioritize the safety and comfort of residents, using gentle techniques and taking necessary precautions
  

• Communicate with residents, their families, and facility staff to ensure services are provided to meet individual needs
  

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Licensed in California
  

• Willingness to get insurance and a business license to run own business
  

• Willingness to work with the elderly (we can help show you)
  

• Predictable schedule; posting hours you always keep
  

• Positive attitude
