Your Team: 

The Financial Collection Analyst will be responsible for managing global collections and optimizing the collection processes, performing data analysis, and leading process improvement initiatives. This role requires close collaboration with the IT department to implement technological solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

 Your Role: As a Cognyter you will: 

• Manage global and regional collections and ensure timely receipt of customer payments.
• Prior experience working with global teams; Oversea or European region exposure preferred (Germany, UK, France, EMEA).
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to track collections, share timelines, and provide regional forecasts for reporting.
• Perform data analysis using advanced Excel skills to support global AR activities.
• Ensure strong control over the end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) process to avoid invoicing and collection delays.
• Submit customer invoices, follow up on payments, and coordinate with the Order Management team for timely issuance.
• Maintain AR invoicing and collection trackers for global regions.
• Support cross-functional and month-end finance activities as needed.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
• Possess working knowledge of banking transactions, cash applications, basic accounting, and applicable taxes including withholding tax

 Additional role but Mandatory

• Support day-to-day accounting activities on a part-time basis, including posting journal entries, accruals, provisions, and intercompany transactions related to the Order-to-Cash cycle.
• Assist in month-end and quarter-end close activities by preparing AR, bank, and balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting variance analysis.
• Ensure accurate accounting documentation and compliance by maintaining audit-ready records and supporting internal and external audits.
• Work closely with global regions and demonstrate strong understanding of global finance processes, controls, and cross-cultural work practices.
• Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for collections and related accounting processes.

Your skills: for that Mission you’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, F&A, Business, Information Systems, MBA, Masters in F&A
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst
• Deep understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce) and their impact on finance processes.
• Strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash lifecycle and collections best practices.
• Proven experience in business finance operational and accounting processes, data analysis, and process improvement
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

 Advantage

• Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems.
• Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) & Financial Forecasting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
