Job Description - Behavior Technician

We are hiring for full-time positions in the Los Angeles area to make a difference in the lives of children and help them become part of their peer community. This is an exciting role for those who are interested in making a difference in helping others.

💼 Full-time at 31 hours
💰 Pay Range: $19.50 – $26.13/hr*
*Based on experience, education, certifications, and second language use (50%+ of the time)

🎯What You’ll Do:

Provide direct care to clients
Implement behavior strategies using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
Support skill development in communication, socialization, play, motor skills, self-help, and school readiness
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and specialists to create positive outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation of progress and plans

📋 Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Access to a mobile phone (for email) and basic internet (if working offsite)
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance with minimum 25/50k liability coverage
Ability to travel to multiple locations
Must pass a DOJ/FBI background check
Current TB Test

🌍 Work Environment & Physical Qualifications

Support is provided in a variety of settings such as homes, schools, or clinics
Ability to work in settings with moderate to loud noise levels
Comfort working with individuals who may display a wide range of behaviors and needs
Could include the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling
