Overview:

Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, the ABA Behavior Technician role provides 1-to-1 Applied Behavioral Analysis services to children and teens diagnosed with Autism (ASD). Therapy sessions usually run 3-4 hours and primarily take place during after school hours in the client's home, Community, and/or at our Center. Our team focuses on assigning cases as locally as possible (usually within 30 minutes) to your home address or regular school/other work location.

We provide ABA services to individuals ages 2-22 diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Our team believes in developing talent and offers opportunities for growth in a diversity of skill sets. Our Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) work with the ABA Therapists/Technicians to implement interventions that help our clients cultivate functional behaviors in a variety of settings by enhancing communication skills and teaching strategies for self-regulation.

ABA Behavior Technician Responsibilities

• Actively creating fun and engaging learning environments


• Work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst


• Working with families for effective collaboration


• Submitting all required paperwork in a timely manner
  


• Electronic Data collection


• Implementing individualized behavior support plans


• Implementing skill acquisition programs

ABA Behavior Technician Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)


• Valid Driver's License (Required)
  


• Friendly, energetic, and enjoys working with individuals with special needs


• Experience working with children
  


• Ability to attend an initial orientation
  


• Timely and organized


• Ability to work independently


• Proven ability to communicate effectively within a variety of situations
