We’re hiring a fully licensed therapist as Admissions Director to lead intake, assessments, and enrollment for an outpatient behavioral health clinic serving adolescents and young adults in IOP/PHP programs. This role blends clinical oversight with relationship-building—guiding families through the admissions process while ensuring appropriate level-of-care decisions and compliance with Virginia standards.

Responsibilities

  • Admissions Coordination & Family Support: Educate families and referral sources about services, facilitate admissions process, conduct intake assessments, and provide resources when appropriate. Review insurance coverage and financial responsibilities with families to ensure transparency.

  • Team Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with clinical, administrative, and billing teams to coordinate admissions; supervise Case Managers; and participate in leadership meetings to align on strategy and census needs.

  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and BestNotes, complete required clinical documentation, and ensure all legal documents and consents are properly handled in compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Outreach & Relationship Building: Engage in special events, build relationships with referral partners, and collaborate with marketing and admissions teams to support tours and community engagement.

  • Clinical Support & Development: Perform clinical duties as needed, assist with application reviews, and complete all required training to support program needs and uphold quality care standards.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Full clinical licensure in Virginia (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT) required. A provisional license can not be accepted for this role.
  • 1–2 years of experience conducting behavioral health assessments.
  • Proficiency in administering suicide screening tools such as the C-SSRS.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Effective problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Benefits

  • Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance – Multiple plan options including PPO and HDHPs with HSA eligibility and company contributions.
  • Paid Parental Leave – Up to 6 weeks fully paid for exempt employees and 4 weeks for non-exempt.
  • Life & Disability Coverage – Company-paid life, AD&D, and long-term disability; voluntary life and optional short-term disability available.
  • 401(k) with Company Match – Retirement savings with matching contributions after eligibility period.
  • PTO & Holidays – Competitive PTO accrual plans and paid holidays throughout the year.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – Free, confidential support for life’s challenges.
