Since its inception in 1980, Hudson Behavioral Health has been providing cutting edge treatment for Substance Use and other co-occurring disorders. Our services include Detoxification, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Partial Hospitalization, Treatment, and Transitional Housing.

This position is located at our Male Sober Living House in Georgetown, DE.

This will be evening hours and some weekends.

As a Behavioral Health Aide, you would be responsible for cleaning and preparing bedrooms for incoming residents, inspecting bedrooms for safety after a resident is discharged, communicate house needs, inventory supply and maintenance issues, Provide orientation upon admission as directed, monitor residents daily living activities by conducting room checks and walk through inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety, perform urine drug screen and breathalyzer analysis as needed, provide transportation for weekly grocery store trips, meetings, appointments, and other recovery related events as needed, monitor medication with residents and document medication counts as directed, record keeping and clerical duties.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Possession of a High School Diploma or GED.

Must possess a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 violations.

Experience:

Direct care experience in addictions treatment or other related health care preferred.
