Behavioral Health Intake Specialist

Inova 8221 Willow Oaks is looking for a dedicated Behavioral Health Intake Coordinator 1 to join the team. This role will be Full-time Days 8:30PM-5:00PM with one day off; Monday-Saturday.

Behavioral Health Intake Coordinator 1 Job Responsibilities: 

• Organizes referrals, providing outreach, and coordinating admissions to different levels of care via telephone.
• Provides telephone support to patients, families and community members who call the behavioral health call center.
• Conducts initial screenings and assessments to assess patient needs.
• Coordinates admission assessment appointments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Education - High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Healthcare background, preferably in Behavioral Health and/or Substance Use services.
• Previous call center experience is preferred.
• Experience working in a Behavioral Health, Mental Health, or Substance Use setting is highly valued.
