Location: Rexburg & St. Anthony

Schedule: Mon, Wed & Fri 7:50 am - 6:00 pm | 1 flexible weekday off (Tues or Thurs) | 4 - 10 hour shifts per week

Pay: DOE

Grand Peaks Behavioral Health is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in their work, and is interested in a long-term position with our organization.

This full-time role provides front office support for our St. Anthony and Rexburg behavioral health clinics. As the first point of contact for patients, families, and visitors, the Receptionist plays an important role in the day-to-day operations of our clinics. The ideal candidate is comfortable learning new systems and procedures, with a high level of accuracy when entering patient and insurance information, and can handle the demands of a front office with professionalism and care.

Flexibility to work at both our St. Anthony and Rexburg clinics is required. Shifts will be scheduled at one location per day. Schedule details will be discussed during the interview.

What You'll Do

  • Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff
  • Answer and direct phone calls; schedule appointments; collect co-pays and patient payments
  • Support scheduling and coordination for school-based therapy services
  • Maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance information
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality
  • Manage front desk operations, including check-in/check-out and paperwork
  • Assist with general office duties

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least six months of healthcare receptionist experience preferred; relevant administrative or front office experience will be considered.
  • Bilingual Spanish and English speaking skills preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally and respectfully with patients, families, visitors, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion, diplomacy, and tact.
  • Excellent telephone skills, with the ability to effectively manage calls, assist patients, and direct inquiries.
