Location: Fairhaven, MA | Job Type: Full-time | Schedule: Monday–Friday, open 8-5:30 pm (flexible) + occasional special events
*We are not a daycare. We are an Early Education and Care program that provides year-round, high-quality education and care to infant, toddler, preschool and school age children.

As a Behavioral Interventionist & Family Resource Coordinator, you’ll be a vital bridge for families navigating childcare assistance and a champion for young children's positive behavior and development. Your work will empower families, uplift educators, and inspire children to thrive both in the classroom and beyond!
What You’ll Do
- Build trusted relationships with families, offering emotional and practical support in their childcare journey.
- Observe, assess, and promote positive behaviors through fun, developmentally appropriate interventions in classrooms.
- Coach and lead workshops for educators on proven strategies for creating nurturing, inclusive learning environments.
- Lead the referral process to connect children with critical services like Early Intervention, IFSPs, IEPs, and more.
- Assist with the review and implementation of individual family service plans (IFSPs), individualized education plans (IEPs), and other formal education and behavior plans.
- Collaborate with administrators, therapists, schools, and community agencies to create seamless support systems for children and families.
- Communicate in English, Spanish, and Cape Verdean Creole to meet families where they are. A plus if you also speak Portuguese!
- Maintain detailed, confidential records and use observation data to recommend improvements that elevate our programs.
- Travel locally (within a 15-mile radius) to bring your expertise to families and classrooms across our community.

Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) or a Master’s degree level clinician
- Education: Degree in Social Work, Family Studies, Child Behavioral Health, Applied Behavioral Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related human services field.
- Language Skills: Communicate in English, Cape Verdean Creole & Spanish to connect with families in their language. A plus is you also speak Portuguese!
- Experience: Background in early childhood education, behavioral intervention
