Overview

ATC Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and experienced ABSS Clinician (Behavioral Support Specialist) to join our clinical team. This role is ideal for a professional with experience in counseling, behavioral assessments, treatment planning, and supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.

The ABSS Clinician functions under the supervision of a licensed psychologist and plays a vital role in providing clinically appropriate treatment and behavioral support services.

Responsibilities

• 
  

  Provide clinically appropriate treatment in accordance with treatment plans

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct behavioral evaluations and assessments to determine therapeutic needs and diagnoses

  
  


• 
  

  Develop individualized treatment and behavioral support plans

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including treatment notes and service reviews

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment and support teams

  
  


• 
  

  Participate in patient planning reviews and staff meetings

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct staff and family training as appropriate

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain compliance with all safety, privacy, and regulatory standards

  
  


• 
  

  Follow organizational mission, values, and professional standards

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  Master’s degree in a clinical and/or treatment field of Psychology

  
  


• 
  

  Training in assessment techniques and behavioral program development

  
  


• 
  

  Prior experience providing counseling services under OPWDD guidelines preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  
  


• 
  

  Experience using EHR systems and standardized testing tools

  
  


• 
  

  Valid New York State driver’s license required
