Description
The Bell Captain will be responsible for managing a team of bellhops and ensuring the smooth flow of the hotel's luggage and guest services. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
PREVIOUS HOTEL BELL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the bell staff, including training, scheduling, and providing feedback
- Greet guests, assist with luggage, and provide directions and recommendations for local attractions
- Maintain accurate records of guest luggage and deliveries
- Coordinate with front desk staff to ensure seamless check-in and check-out experiences
- Respond to guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of local attractions and restaurants
- Physical ability to lift and transport luggage
