JOB TITLE: Bellhop

JOB TYPE: Full-time or Part-time, Seasonal (end of season mid-December)

HOURS: Typically 8 hour shifts between the hours of 7am and 11pm

PAY RATE: Starting at $16/hour

ABOUT US:  At The Nonantum Resort, we strive to provide memorable, high-quality experiences to our guests while maintaining a friendly and respectful work environment. The Bellhop works as a member of the Front Desk team to assist guests throughout their stay and support operations across the resort.

ABOUT THE JOB:

• Greet incoming guests and escort them to their rooms.


• Transfer luggage from vehicles to guest rooms and ensure guests have everything they need, such as toiletries and in-room amenities.


• Make deliveries to rooms prior to guest arrival and during the stay.


• Conduct Front Desk errands such as post office and bank runs.


• Maintain cleanliness of the resort’s public areas.


• Take initiative by independently completing daily tasks and recognizing the needs of others.


• Work in an inter-departmental capacity to facilitate optimal guest satisfaction.


• Communicate and collaborate with entire Front Desk team.

ABOUT YOU:

• At least 16 years of age


• Comfortable communicating courteously with people of all ages


• Aptitude for learning new skills


• Recognizes the needs of others and acts accordingly


• Abides by the highest ethical standards


• Ability to be on your feet and active for the length of a shift


• Able to lift 50 pounds
