Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring for Belt Loaders (General Laborers) in Cherry Valley, IL. As a Belt Loader for Cardinal Staffing, you will work in a manufacturing environment and be involved in all aspects of manufacturing operations for a company in the heat treat industry.
Cardinal Staffing Services, is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $15/hr as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.
Available shifts include 1st and 3rd. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare loads for processing in furnaces according to specified requirements.
- Ensure consistent and accurate preparation of loads, including rack assembly, bulk layering, etc.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when handling materials and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Assist with post-heat treat requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding any issues or concerns.
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
- Other duties assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing experience a plus but not required.
- High attention to detail and safety/compliance.
- Demonstrate good communication skills, problem-solving skills, and sound judgement.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
