Benefits Administrator / Processor

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage benefits administration tasks, including open enrollments and policy binding.
• Oversee the full renewal process, ensuring smooth communication between clients and carriers.
• Create and maintain accurate spreadsheets, including carrier rate verification.
• Assist in developing marketing and presentation materials for client use.
• Work with fully funded/insured accounts using carriers such as Unit Healthcare, Premera, and Regence.
• Maintain data accuracy and perform detailed processing in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Must have a stable work history (no more than three jobs in the last ten years).
• Washington Life & Health / Disability license required.
• Strong attention to detail and experience in data processing (background in mortgage loan processing or insurance processing preferred).
• Prior experience working with small group benefits in an agency setting is required.
• Must be comfortable with an internally focused administrative role; promotion path leads to an Account Manager position.
• Seeking candidates who do not want a sales role.
• Candidates must reside within five miles of the office and be willing to work fully in-office (no remote work).
