Job PurposeThis position functions as the face of the Benefits Department and is the HR partner responsible for identifying customer needs and driving appropriate solutions related to employee - retiree health, wealth, and wellness.
Essential FunctionsManage the Benefits Call Center and serve as the lead to serve our internal clients to exceed expectationsSupports employee engagement initiatives in benefit programs through strategic initiatives around communication, education, and brandingManage the day-to-day administration of employee and retiree benefits plans and serve as the escalation point for complex inquiriesManage vendor relationships to ensure proper collaboration to enhance health, wealth, and wellness offeringsDevelop and track metrics for measuring success around benefit programs and the Benefits Call CenterCreate, deliver, and/or coordinate HWW training programsAssist benefits team with day-to-day benefit projects, activities, and initiativesAdhere to all compliance regulations and/or applicable lawsUnderstand and maintain current knowledge of each benefit plan and ensure complianceCommunicate detailed plan provisions or changes to individuals or groups in a way that the content is understood by those impactedEducationFour years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalentCertifications, Accreditations, LicensesPHR, SPHR, or CEBS or progress towards achieving designations preferredExperience3-5 years of experiencePrior experience in a benefits function requiredManagement experience preferredSpecial Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to think strategically and holistically to execute on all projects/deliverablesCurrent working knowledge of HR and benefit related laws, regulations, and standard practicesStrong computer literacy with HRIS and Microsoft Office programsAbility to influence peers through positive approach and energyAbility to maintain appropriate confidentialityProfessional written and oral communication skillsSupervisory ResponsibilitiesMay lead or manage 1-2 call center/clerical staff
