Benefits Specialist - Remote - Urgent Position

We are looking for a meticulous Compensation & Benefits Specialist, offering a contract to hire employment opportunity. The role can be performed remotely from any location, including MIDDLE RIVER, Maryland, 21220-2863, United States. As a Compensation & Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for the administration and operation of various benefit programs, assisting with the coordination of retirement and healthcare programs, and handling the processing and updating of benefit administration platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the administration of various benefit programs, including retirement and 401(k) programs, health care programs (Medical, Dental, Vision), and welfare programs (Life, Disability, Voluntary Benefits)
• Coordinate with third-party providers for benefit payment processing and leave management
• Regularly update HRIS and Payroll Systems with relevant information
• Generate reports related to benefits administration like new hire enrollment, dependent verification, and open life events reporting
• Provide support to local HR teams in addressing employee benefit inquiries
• Use your skills in 'About Time', 'Benefit Functions', 'Claim Administration', 'Compensation Administration', 'Compliance', 'UKG Pro', 'UKG Ready', 'Prepare Reports', 'Workforce Time & Attendance' to perform tasks effectively
• Perform other duties as assigned.• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Compensation & Benefits Specialist or similar role
• Proficiency in the 'About Time' software
• Expertise in managing benefit functions
• Experience in claim and compensation administration
• Knowledge of compliance regulations related to compensation and benefits
• Proficiency in UKG Pro and UKG Ready software
• Ability to prepare comprehensive reports
• Experience in managing workforce time and attendance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
