Bethel Store Associate

The Bethel Store Associate plays a pivotal role in our Store Team by serving our customers with excellence, upholding a

beautiful environment within the store and being an extension of our ministry in selling books, apparel and other

products that resource others and spread the good news of the kingdom of God. As an Associate, you will work on

the shop floor as part of a team of other associates in coordinated shifts and report to our Store Manager.

Position Type: Part Time Zero Hour

Hours: 0-9 per week

Salary: $16.50

• Proactively engage with customers throughout the store, identifying needs through effective questions and making personalized product recommendations.
• Demonstrate excellent product knowledge and support the Store Team in store projects.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the Point of Sale (POS) or Mobile Register,
• Ensuring a friendly checkout experience.
• Manage time effectively to complete floor sets, merchandising, replenishment, and other projects promptly.
• Prepare for each shift by staying informed about sales, promotions, new products, and updated procedures.
• Recover and replenish merchandise to ensure availability while maintaining the excellence of the sales floor.
• Build awareness of loss prevention protocols.
• Support a thriving working environment by demonstrating and upholding Bethel core values.
• Assisting Fulfillment Team in receiving merchandise from the Warehouse as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Ability to work part-time and help cover shifts

• Can stand on feet for up to 8 hours
• Can lift up to 50 pounds
• Can climb ladder, bend and reach
• Counting and sorting money
• Understand how to use a computer and other technology applications

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience working in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Proficiency in multiple languages (Such as Spanish, Portuguese or Mandarin) is a plus
