Beverage Server (Seasonal)- Whispers Lounge

Must be able to exceed guest’s expectations by providing a high standard service. This candidate will mix and serve alcoholic beverages based on customer requests. Their duties include verifying the identification and age of customers, preparing and serving alcoholic beverages, accepting payment from customers, cleaning glasses and bar utensils and balancing cash receipts to record sales.

Respond to all interactions in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction. Engage with customers and personalize service by following Hagadone Hospitality philosophy.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for prompt, courteous and attentive service to the Guest.
• Take orders and deliver food in a timely manner.
• Quality check tables through service.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized appearance of the lounge, work stations, and liquor rooms.
• Responsible of checking guest identification to ensure minimum legal drinking age.
• Maintain service stations stock throughout each shift.
• Must have a working knowledge of the menu in order to sell products.
• Knowledgeable of all Hagadone Hospitality operations in order to cross sell.
• Work as a team player and help each other throughout your shift.
• Accountable for all sales.
• Acting as cashier – handling currency and all other types of payment.
• Good math and money handling skills.
• Handle payments transactions – act as a cashier. (Cash, credit cards, check, room charge).

• Maintain a neat and tidy appearance of each table.
• Deal with customer difficulties as they arise.
• Must be at least 19 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Capacity to stand for up to seven hours at a time.
• High level of verbal and social skills.
• Display a confident personal presence.

• Full Time Employees are offered these benefits first of the month following 60 days of employment
• Must maintain a minimum of 30 hours per week or more.
• Variable hour team members could be eligible 12 months after their date of hire, with supervisor approval, so long as they have averaged 30+ hours per week throughout their first year.

401K Plan:

• Team members are eligible to participate at the age of 21 or greater and at the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment.

PTO:

• 6 months gets 7 PTO days - 728 hours (average 28 hours per week)
• 1 year gets 10 PTO days - 1,456 hours (average 28 hours per week)

• 5+ years gets 20 PTO days - 1,200 hours (average 23 hours per week)

Holiday Pay:

• Hourly team members who work on Thanksgiving and Christmas will be paid their wage at time and a half.
