Job Title/Department: Beyond Camp Behavior Support/Co-Director
Employee Classification: Seasonal, Non-Exempt
Reports To: Camp Director
Summary
Julie Billiart Schools is a network of schools serving children grades K-8 with special learning
challenges. Currently we have campuses in Akron, Brecksville, Lyndhurst and Westlake that offer
unique learning environments for students with autism, ADD/ADHD, dyslexia, specific learning
deficiencies and social learning challenges. We are Catholic, non-public schools that welcome
diverse faith traditions.
Job Purpose
The primary function of the Behavior Support/Co-Director role is to provide behavioral support
service delivery options to meet the needs of students. The Behavior Support will collaborate
with teachers, counselors, and other support staff to implement behavior support plans for
students who require consistent behavioral support throughout the day. In addition,
organizational duties are expected to ensure the camp operates as normal in collaboration with
the Camp Director.

Requirements
Education, Experience, and Qualifications
Education Required:
? Minimum of a high school diploma, with formal training in Behavioral Support
Intervention or Intervention Specialist.
? In process or obtained Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or Board
Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification preferred.
Experience:
? Minimum of two years of recent experience working with individuals who have
behavioral and social/communication challenges.
? Knowledge of early childhood and autism assessment tools and procedures, along with a
thorough understanding of child development.
? Experience developing positive behavior support plans and programs; experience
teaching social interaction and play skills.
? Knowledge of current methods and techniques in applied behavior analysis and discrete
trial training.
? Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with students, parents, and professionals.
? Competence in analyzing assessment results, designing appropriate individual treatment
plans and behavioral programs, and monitoring progress.
? Ability to work effectively as a team member, demonstrate flexibility, and a desire to
learn new skills and improve professional qualifications.
Qualifications Required:
? Strong communication skills to work with a diverse team.
? Basic computer skills and the ability to use required software.
? Ability to problem-solve and assist in decision-making, including during emergencies.
? Ability to follow and practice policies related to proper procedures for restraint and
seclusion.
? Ability to work productively to develop relationships with students, families, and other
support personnel.
? Creative abilities with strong organizational and time management skills.
? Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
? Maintain a high level of organization for file maintenance and record-keeping
Physical Requirements
The physical requirements of the job include, standing, sitting, walking and lifting of up to 30
pounds. This position requires being indoors and outdoors, sometimes exposed to typically
weather characteristic of the region.
