BI Architect, Preferred Onsite (Virginia Beach)
We are looking for a BI Architect to lead the design and implementation of a modern data platform and BI solution leveraging Snowflake, Azure, and PowerBI, supporting the client’s data modernization journey.
Responsibilities:
• Define and drive the overall BI and data architecture strategy aligned with business goals.
• Design the Medallion architecture on Snowflake including landing zones (Azure Blob), DataMart, and semantic layers.
• Lead data modelling efforts for Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and other domains.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and BI Developers to ensure architectural standards and best practices.
• Guide report rationalization and new BI development efforts.
• Provide hands-on architectural oversight and mentoring to the delivery team.
• Interface with client stakeholders and ensure alignment with business outcomes.
• Support AI BI initiatives such as Cortex for enhanced analytics.
Qualifications:
• Extensive experience designing modern BI and data platforms using Snowflake, Azure, and Power BI.
• Deep understanding of cloud data architectures, Medallion architecture, and data governance.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to work onsite and bridge client and delivery teams.
• Experience with orchestration and transformation tools such as Daxter and DBT.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to be onsite in Virginia Beach preferred, flexible for onshore if needed.
