Bike Service Tech - Lexington

Our client is looking for a Bike Service Technician at an established Bike Shop, you'll play a vital role in our Service Department by performing high-quality bicycle repairs and maintenance. Your primary responsibility will be completing scheduled service work in-store, ensuring every bicycle you service is safe, functional, and ready for the road or trail. 

In this role, you'll work on a wide variety of bicycles including high-end road bikes, traditional models, and the latest e-bikes across multiple brands. While suspension service experience is not required, it's a valuable skill that will help you stand out. You'll be expected to demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to safety and quality control, and a passion for cycling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete scheduled service and repairs on customer bicycles and store inventory
• Perform diagnostics and repairs on both mechanical and electric bike systems
• Work confidently on high-end road bikes, as well as a range of other bicycle types
• Maintain high standards of quality and safety on all service work
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding service needs, timelines, and recommendations
• Stay up to date with new products, technologies, and repair techniques
• Contribute to a clean, organized, and efficient workshop environment

What We're Looking For:

• Proven mechanical skills and experience working on a wide range of bicycles, including high-performance road bikes and e-bikes
• Suspension service experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A collaborative, team-first mindset
• Willingness to learn new technologies and processes

Benefits & Compensation: 

• $20-27.50 Hourly   
• Paid Time Off - 80 hours per year. Start accruing on your Start Date with the Company
