Bilingual Bartender at Plaza Mariachi

Our Bartenders are the ambassadors of Plaza Mariachi. From crafting classic ocktails, to creating regular customers out of first-time guests, we rely on our Bartenders to create a fun, welcoming environment.  Z-Bar Bartenders are enthusiastic, determined multi-taskers with a gift for good cheer. 

Bartender must be able to adapt to several types of work environment from family friendly to concerts to party nights. Great tips! Bi-lingual in english and spanish is required.

Bartender duties:

• Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest.


• Maintain a safe environment for every guest by counting drinks.


• Keep bar area clean in accordance with Z-Bar guidelines as well as the requirements of the Metro Health Department.


• Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the night and be able to account for any and all discrepancies in the final drawer tally.


• Mix all drinks based on the prescribed recipes to keep drink costs at a minimum and prevent overserving.


• Develop an efficient work pace that keeps the customers at the bar and in the dining room satisfied at all times.


• Ability to thrive in high-volume environment where efficiency is the key ingredient

Experience & Requirements:

• Ability to multitask and stay calm in high-pressure situations.


• Display a positive, enthusiastic attitude toward guests and coworkers throughout an entire shift.


• Excellent communication skills; bilingual language skills are required


• ServSafe certification is a plus, but not necessary.
  


• Open availability/flexibility preferred, including AM shifts.
