POSITION SUMMARY:
You will be critical to co-developing an Economic Justice Hub model at Boston Medical Center, including an expansion of the StreetCred financial wellness services beyond Pediatrics to include additional departments at Boston Medical Center, including OB/GYN and Family Medicine. You will also co-design and refine a trauma-informed financial inclusion peer support and education curriculum tailored to families' needs. This individual will be responsible for building Boston Medical Center's capacity to provide tax preparation, enroll families in other financial services through a newborn bundle, and refine a trauma-informed financial inclusion peer support and education curriculum tailored to families' needs. Your management of these efforts will improve family health in clinical settings. The clinical manager will coordinate strategic assistance to support cross-sector collaborations, network-wide communications, and sharing resources and tools. You will set, lead, and oversee the day-to-day priorities of the team, focusing on strategic project management, operational excellence, and communication among a team of three Financial Community Wellness Advocates. Key deliverables include supporting the expansion of a medical-tax collaborative, curating and sharing lessons learned across sites, building and maintaining partner relationships, and developing and refining strategies for communicating with policy stakeholders and the broader community. The clinical manager will improve on current data systems in our electronic medical record (EPIC) to track financial, health, and healthcare utilization data through ongoing care coordination, and assist in long-term evaluation needs. You will develop quality improvement methods for reaching patients, testing multiple pathways, and for framework development for future expansion. The clinical manager will engage in regular communication and planning with a consortium of advisors and partner agencies. The clinical manager will facilitate improvement processes, trainings and coordinate technical assistance for sites. Lead in management and stewardship of grant progress reports, case studies and briefs, and manage new grant proposal development. Responsible for financial management activities and supervision of three staff. We seek an experienced project director with well-developed skills in facilitation, implementation, managing partner relations, and content dissemination.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
Ensures achievement of major project goals and objectives through day-to-day administration and direction of the project
Responsible for managing and developing all internal team members: Onboarding processes for all new team members Oversee new team member mentorship and L&D opportunities Manage team succession planning Take point on recruiting key team members Evaluate the performance of the team and program by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and creating and using metrics Provide coaching, advice, and, when necessary, corrective action for team members
Ensure processes are built, followed, adapted, and scaled appropriately: Allocate resources to new and existing projects Help develop evaluation tools and procedures Directly manage projects Take point and assist on at-risk projects as needed Ensure the quality of the programs we offer are not compromised as we scale
Manage and build relationships with external partners and vendors: Build, curate, and track relationships with national partners and stakeholders Communication with external partners including regular technical assistance meetings, video conferences
Performs a variety of duties related to StreetCred programming and creation of the Economic Justice Hub: Oversee project management and follow-through Oversee coordination and implementation of program-related activities Help identify opportunities for process improvement Examine processes in order to make systems more efficient and effective
Communications Prepare presentations, notices, agendas and reports related to specific projects Oversee content development and dissemination of white papers, briefs, newsletters, blogs, social media and other external communications Collaborate and sometimes lead the preparation of grant progress reports and proposals, presentations, and manuscripts
Conforms to hospital standards of performance and conduct, including those pertaining to patient rights, so that the best possible customer service and patient care may be provided
Utilizes hospital's Values as the basis for decision-making and to facilitate the division's hospital mission
Follows established hospital infection control and safety procedures
Performs other duties as assigned or as necessary
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: Master's degree in related field (may consider candidates with Bachelor's degree who have at least 6 years directly related research and/or clinical experience).
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of three years' experience in research public health, health care administration and/or related field, including experience managing projects and operations.
