Your Role as a Direct Support Professional

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) work one-on-one with individuals with special needs, following a personalized care plan. Positions are available part-time or full-time, with one or more assigned clients.

Responsibilities include:

  Providing hands-on, compassionate support with daily living skills

  Encouraging personal growth, independence, and community engagement

  Assisting with personal care, behavior support, and medication reminders

  Participating in recreational activities, outings, and meaningful routines

  Collaborating with families and care teams to support individualized care plans

What We're Looking For

✔ A heart for caregiving - Genuine compassion for individuals with special needs
✔ Experience (formal or informal) - Babysitting, teaching, CNA, or similar roles (min. 3 months)
✔ Strong communication - Ability to build trust and maintain clear documentation
✔ Patience and adaptability - Ready to navigate daily challenges with empathy
✔ Reliable transportation - Some roles may require a valid driver's license
✔ Ability to pass a background check - Ensuring client safety is our top priority
