Role Summary


Texas One Insurance is hiring a Licensed Insurance Agent – General Lines for a full-time, onsite role focused on guiding clients to the right coverage and supporting policy needs with accuracy and professionalism.

Key responsibilities include quoting, selling, and servicing insurance policies; explaining coverage options; processing policy updates; following up on leads and renewals; and maintaining compliance with state insurance regulations.

Required qualifications:
- Active General Lines Insurance License
- Strong communication and consultative sales skills
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Highly organized and detail-oriented approach

Preferred:
- Active Life and Health Insurance License (a plus)
- Prior insurance sales or customer service experience

Your Typical Day


Your day is structured and client-facing, balancing scheduled follow-ups with new inquiries. You’ll move between phone, email, and in-person conversations, documenting each interaction carefully and keeping records current. Throughout the day, you’ll prioritize timely responses, confirm details to avoid errors, and coordinate next steps so clients know exactly what to expect. Because the schedule includes weekdays and weekends, you’ll help ensure consistent coverage for customers while keeping your workflow organized and compliant.
